Education: The great equalizer
No other asset in the world can do as much for any individual as a well-rounded education. Fame fades. Strength weakens. Wealth waste away. However, your education is yours to keep! You control how much you acquire, and no one can take it from you! 
The world is flat; location is of no importance and The Information Age is done due the ubiquity of access to the information. This is the Age of Synthesis. Your marketplace value will not be based what you can grow (Agrarian Age), or on how hard you can work (Industrial Age) or what you know (Information Age), but your value is now based how you well you can bring together divergent ideas, seemingly paradoxical concepts, and synthesize them to develop unique methods of understanding and highly effective systems.

We do a disservice to our students and the world as a whole when we are not fully equipping and preparing our youth to do more than merely exist as a consumer in the global marketplace. We can and must do better . . . Be Better! We can develop our youth to be a contributing force to be reckoned with by the time our compulsory education period comes to an end.
