Melissa has over 20 years of experience in leading professional and financial services, including 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Capital, Talent Management, and Leadership Development.
Melissa is passionate about the role of Human Capital, and is able to help drive business impact by building capability in talent development. Bringing a talent mindset to life is the key to realizing the value from an organization’s most impactful assets – its people! As a Sr. Manager, US and Global Talent Strategy for PwC, she leads and participates in cross-functional teams focused on improving the people experience across the talent lifecycle (onboarding, talent identification, succession, development, and alumni relations). Her current priorities include enhancing the firm’s key talent identification and development approach, aligning talent processes with the leadership development experience, utilizing data to drive talent decisions, and strengthening the focus on diversity throughout the talent lifecycle.
Prior to joining PwC, Melissa has held roles as an OD/Performance consultant, Strategic Business Partner, and Talent COE Leader. Her experience in Human Capital spans from Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Talent Management, People Engagement, Succession, and Total Rewards. Melissa has led enterprise-wide change efforts in the areas of performance management, human capital technology, hiring, executive and leadership development, and high potential development.
She believes in the power of a person's potential and loves to coach, develop, and help others achieve their personal and professional best. Melissa is a certified facilitator for Covey’s, “7 Habits of Highly Effective Leaders”, DDI’s “Business Impact Leadership”, and “Leadership Essentials”. Melissa’s experience also includes executive coaching, performance coaching, and team coaching. Melissa is certified in interpreting and administering The Leadership Circle 360 and HoganTM Assessments.
